Nintendo's Family BASIC utilizes the NS-HUBASIC programming language to let users write custom code via an external keyboard. Players must connect a Famicom Data Recorder to save their work. While the original version focuses on coding, the Family BASIC V3 re-release includes pre-installed games that players can launch by typing the GAME command.
